Early College Program Overview
The Amherst Center, a satellite campus of Central Virginia Community College (CVCC), serves as a premier educational hub for Amherst County residents. Through a robust partnership with Amherst County Public Schools, the Center provides an accelerated pathway for students to achieve post-secondary success in a state-of-the-art learning environment.

Admission Requirements
- Rising high school junior
- Academic Standing: Minimum cumulative 3.5 GPA
- Prerequisite: Successful completion of Algebra II.
- Submission of Early College application including recommendation forms from the following

- Math teacher
- Parental Permission
