(November 28, 2023) — Launched in 2019, Stay Close, Go Far (SCGF) is an initiative providing last-dollar free tuition to eligible Lynchburg City Schools students, encouraging them to attend Central Virginia Community College or pursue higher education at partnering institutions at Centra College of Nursing, Liberty University, Longwood University, Randolph College, Sweet Briar College or University of Lynchburg.
